Plant a Gardening Book

Sign for Ladybug’s Landing Community Garden

At last week’s Little Free Library Indiana meeting, Terry Bivens-Fry reported that the Little Library intended for Lady Bug Landing, the community garden for Terraces of Park Place , has been completed and the goal is to have it up in the next several weeks if possible.

This little library was built by Tom Cey, who used recycled materials. It becomes clear when you peek inside that he used old kitchen-type cabinets to build this library. The recycled materials and the fact that the decorating was done by children gives this little library a very unique look!

We hope to have photos once the library is situated in its new home. For now, here’s a photo of a sign for the garden which is located at 1820 E. Park Place in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Since this library is located in a community garden, the stewards would like to focus its offerings to books that are about gardening.  So if you are looking for a way to help the local Little Free Library Indiana cause and have books on gardening, herbs, etc. that you would like to donate please let us know. You can send us a message through our contact page.
